Achievements

1. HKUST Redbird PhD Award 2025: Awarded with this prestigious award in which 40000 HKD (~USD 5100) was cash price and 1st year tuition fee worth 44500 HKD (~USD 5670) was fully waived off.

2. Joint Entrance Examination 2014: Scored 99.27% percentile score in Main exam and Secured All India Category Rank 187 in Main Exam. I also secured a seat in one the prestigious IITs (Only 10K seats available for 1.3 million student participated in exam) with securing All India Category Rank 777 in Advance Exam.

3. Poster Presented at American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) India Conference 2017: Got an opportunity to present my undergraduate project work in prestigious ASCE India Conference 2017 and awarded the certificate for Poster Presentation.

4. Associate member: Elected as Associate Member (Till 2021) of the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) Community.

5. Intermediate or Senior Secondary School-2013: Secured Rank-1 in my Class.

Extracurricular Activities

1. XPRIZE Water Scarcity Webinar (Nov 2024): I attended an informative session of XPRIZE Water Scarcity, a $119 competition to Revolutionize Desalination. The objective of the webinar was to address the urgency of water scarcity and to find a sustainable and economical solution seawater treatment technology. I am also considering to participate in this competition and showcase my idea for better water future.

2. MemSci-Brine 2024: I attended the international workshop titled “Fostering Deep Membrane Science Research for Desalination, Brine Reclamation, and Resource Extraction” organized by the Centre for Nanotechnology at IIT Roorkee, India, from December 4th to 6th, 2024. This workshop presents an excellent opportunity to engage with the global desalination research community and expand my professional network. It will cover a broad range of topics, including innovative membrane technologies, resource recovery, integrated desalination approaches, and future directions in desalination science.

3. Online Seminar at IIT Bhubaneswar 2024: I attended the one day seminar on “advanced characterization studies of tailings and industrial by products” held in IIT Bhubaneswar.

4. Research Methodology Workshop 2018: voluntarily, one of the potential member of coordinating team to organize a workshop.

5. Core Team Member, Alcheringa 2017: Core Team Member of the cultural fest of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. It is one of the greatest college’s festival in North-East India.

6. Marketing Executive, Alcheringa 2016: Marketing Team Member of the cultural fest of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Our responsibilities were to arrange the funds for college cultural fest.

7. SPARDA 2015: Participated in cross-country race event of inter hostel sports competition SPARDHA 2015 held at Indian Institute of Technology.

8. National Service Scheme (NSS) 2014-2015 - Active member of NSS in IIT Guwahati, It was community service program.
